Game Overview

In Highrisers, you're trapped in a desolate metropolis where humanity has been ravaged by a mysterious prion disease. The infected have become 'dreamers' - zombie-like creatures that shun the light and roam the city's skyscrapers at night. As one of four survivors on a doomed skyscraper, your goal is to survive each day by scavenging for supplies, crafting gear, and preparing for the nightly onslaught of dreamers. Gameplay revolves around exploring procedurally generated high-rise buildings, gathering resources, and combining skills to craft weapons, tools, and barricades. As you progress, you'll unlock new recipes, perks, and interactions between characters, allowing you to adapt your strategy and overcome the challenges that await. What sets Highrisers apart is its focus on resource management, teamwork, and improvisation - you won't find any scripted story moments or linear progression here. Instead, you're free to explore every nook and cranny, scavenge for parts, and craft a plan of attack to outsmart the dreamers and escape the city.
