Game Overview

Iratus: Lord of the Dead is an indie RPG that delves into the dark fantasy realm, where you take on the role of Iratus, a powerful necromancer freed from his millennia-long imprisonment. As the master of the undead, you'll control a legion of skeletal warriors, zombies, and other unliving minions to conquer the forces of good and establish an eternal kingdom of death. Your journey begins in the underground lair, where you must expand and improve your dark domain by researching secret rituals, crafting minions from the body parts of defeated enemies, and commanding them through advanced combat mechanics that require a deep understanding of strengths and weaknesses. Each minion has six unique abilities, offering nearly one-hundred ways to command your army as you progress through the game. With four talent trees that alter gameplay, Iratus challenges players to adapt their strategy and approach to succeed in this gothic-themed roguelike experience. As you navigate the twisted corridors and catacombs, you'll encounter a variety of enemies, from lobotomized miners to greedy dwarves and corrupt mercenaries, all vying for power in this dark fantasy world. Iratus' own voice is provided by Stefan Weyte, famous for his performance as Caleb in the cult game series 'Blood'.
