In Mech Engineer, you take on the role of a brilliant scientist tasked with assembling and commanding massive machines to take down an alien threat. The world is in peril as a mysterious energy source known as 'The Reactor' begins to mutate and create twisted, bio-mechanical abominations. Your goal is to harness the power of The Reactor to fuel your mechs and lead them into battle against these otherworldly foes. As you progress through the game, you'll need to carefully manage resources to construct and upgrade your mechs. This requires balancing weight, energy consumption, and available space for components like weapons, armor, and reactors. The terrain itself can be just as treacherous as the enemies you face, with temperature fluctuations affecting reactor performance. The real-time strategy element kicks in when sending your mechs into battle, where they'll automatically engage enemies while you focus on resource management and strategic decision-making. As you conquer levels and defeat foes, you'll earn new components, upgrades, and even unlock new mech designs to take into the fray.
