My Little Dictator is a satirical dark-comedy parody of World War II, where you take on the role of Yamato Yamamoto, a disillusioned but brave soldier from the Empire of Zipangu. The continent is on the brink of destruction, and tensions are brewing as the Europa powers prepare for war. Your mission is to spy on the formidable leaders of Germania, Franzo, Britannia, Vitalia, and Sovia - can you handle their cunning and power? As you navigate the story, make choices that determine your path and unlock character CGs, music tracks, and other artwork. The game features three main campaigns and two side stories to explore, each with its own unique twists and turns.
Gameplay combines visual novel storytelling with turn-based pixel-art battles. Before each battle, you'll have the chance to select your party and research new soldiers, tanks, planes, and commanders. As you progress, you can unlock new abilities and upgrade your arsenal to take on increasingly difficult foes. But don't worry if combat isn't your thing - Easy mode allows you to skip battles and focus on advancing the story.
