In the world of Refuge, you are a survivor of a catastrophic event that has ravaged the land and left only fragments of civilization intact. With the weight of responsibility on your shoulders, you must explore the open world, scavenge for supplies, and destroy formidable bosses to earn a special currency that unlocks new items and builds. But be warned: failure is not an option - permadeath means that once you fall in combat, it's back to square one... with some surprises waiting to spice up your next attempt.
