Game Overview
Several hundred years ago, a cataclysmic event nearly ripped your galaxy apart - an impassable ring of torn hyperspace fabric appeared in the center. Start out as a nobody at the edge and work your way to the center of a galaxy that gets more dangerous, but also more rewarding the closer you get. As you journey, discover why the Event happened, what happened during it, and how the mysterious Xsotan aliens have managed to survive this cosmic calamity. Your goal is to reach the central regions, where the Xsotan reside, but beware - their ships are made of a powerful new metal called Avorion, which you'll need to learn about if you want to take them on. Build your own spaceships using freely scalable blocks that can be procedurally generated and break apart realistically in space battles. Equip them with chainguns, lasers, and other weaponry, or focus on building hangars and commanding squads of fighters. The choice is yours in this open-world sandbox where exploration and combat meet. And when you're ready to share the experience with friends, join the game's co-op multiplayer mode for a whole new level of fun.
