The Last Roman Village is set in a world where the Roman Empire has fallen, and General Marcus Aurelius must use his skills to preserve and protect the last remaining piece of Roman history. As the player, you'll take on the role of Marcus Aurelius' right-hand man, tasked with building and defending this last village against hordes of enemies. The gameplay loop begins by building and upgrading more than 10 different buildings, each with its unique benefits and drawbacks. This is where your strategic thinking comes in – as you train and upgrade your Roman soldiers to take on the diverse array of enemies that threaten your village. From skeletons to orcs, trolls to minotaurs, goblins, and beyond, no two battles are ever alike. As you progress through the game, you'll face off against 10 unique bosses, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. But it's not all about battle – you'll also need to make wise decisions about how to allocate your resources, as every coin spent has a ripple effect on the village's defenses.
