Welcome to Balrum, an old-school RPG that combines the best of classic fantasy worlds with modern open-world exploration and deep combat systems. In this game, you'll play as a young man whose peaceful life in the Darkwood forest is disrupted by dark secrets and evil forces. Your journey begins when your village flees the kingdom and takes refuge in the woods, but after 20 years, you start to feel the evil presence on your own skin. You must leave your home and face a world without laws, where chaos reigns. But as you explore this new world, you'll also feel the thrill of freedom, and discover that nothing will be the same again.
Gameplay combines exploration, combat, crafting, building, farming, survival mechanics, and more in an isometric, turn-based open-world setting. Spend your learning points to create a pure class or hybrid class, explore dozens of dungeons, complete side quests and an epic main quest, and tame various animals to be your loyal companion.
