Crying Suns is a tactical rogue-lite that puts you in the role of Admiral Ellys Idaho, a clone tasked with reactivating the OMNIs and saving humanity from extinction. The story takes place in a mysteriously fallen empire, where the once-peaceful Galactic Empire has been shattered into pieces. Your journey begins on the planet Gehenna, where you'll command a battleship through treacherous clusters of space, avoiding danger at every turn as you try to reactivate the OMNIs and save humanity's future.
Gameplay combines strategic fleet management with tactical combat between battleships and their squadron fleets. Each successful run will uncover more about the Empire and yourself, adding depth to the story and its characters. With over 300 possible story events and a procedurally-generated universe, no two playthroughs are alike.
